Day 1

Normandy: Rouen & Étretat

Visit Rouen Cathedral, the chalk arches of Étretat and Honfleur’s historic harbour. Overnight in Caen.

Day 2

D-Day beaches

Explore Omaha Beach, the Normandy American Cemetery and the German cemetery at La Cambe, with an optional stop in Bayeux.

Day 3

Mont Saint-Michel & Avranches

Discover the tidal island and its abbey, then spend the evening and night near Mont Saint-Michel or in Avranches.

Day 4

Brittany

Continue through Saint-Malo, Dinard and Dinan to the Carnac megalithic alignments. Overnight in Vannes or Quimper.

Day 5

Loire Valley & return

Return via the Loire Valley, with a visit to Chambord or Chenonceau if the schedule allows.
