Day 1 · Departure from Strasbourg
Travel through Alsace and Basel into Switzerland. Pick-up from another city can be arranged.
Bern
Explore the UNESCO-listed old town, with its covered arcades, cathedral, bear park, Zytglogge clock tower and rose garden overlooking the River Aare.
Lucerne
Walk across the historic Chapel Bridge, see the Lion Monument and enjoy the lakeside promenade framed by mountain views. Lunch by Lake Lucerne.
Evening
Stay overnight in Lucerne or Schaffhausen and enjoy dinner overlooking the water.
Day 2 · Rhine Falls
Visit Europe’s most powerful waterfall in the quieter morning hours. Weather and operating conditions permitting, take a boat to the rock at the centre of the falls.
Liechtenstein
Continue to Vaduz, capital of one of the world’s smallest countries. See the princely castle above the town, visit the National Museum and discover Liechtenstein’s celebrated stamps.
Return
Return via Basel or Zurich, arriving in the evening.
